Our Mission is to give the elderly and those in assisted living that human-to-human interaction we have seen lost with the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic and medical isolation.
Because They Matter is a Non-Profit organization started in 2021 during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We saw the hurt and pain in the inability of our elderly and disadvantaged loved ones to connect with the outside world while residing in either community or sheltered housing away from their family and friends.
Our Mission is to give them that human to human interaction we have seen lost with the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic and medical isolation. This distance and resultant isolation may have been determined to keep them safe and we respect that.
